Luca didn't want dinner last night. He came downstairs with quiet tears in his eyes, saying he needed private time and wasn't going to have dinner. All
he wanted was rice milk. He wasn't even enticed by mentioning his favourite foods. By the time that Josh and I sat down for dinner, Luca wanted to go to
bed. Ohhhkay... something isn't quite right there. So when dinner was over I went to check on Luca, and sure enough, he was almost asleep in my bed, with
flushed cheeks and a burning forehead. He fell asleep quite easily but woke after an hour to remain restless throughout the night. Gave tylenol and applied
vinegar on his feet by means of socks sprinkeled with vinegar, to pull the fever down and out of his head/chest. It got it down to 39C/102F... with which
I'm okay. He woke up this morning still with the 39C/102F. Got the neighbour to bring the oldest to school since I'm not leaving the house with Luca.
I'll figure out who's going to pick Josh up later.
And we'll have a nap shortly, because after such an interupted night, *I* need to sleep.
